A letter from our President:

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Delaware Ballet, welcome to our recently renovated website! Here you will find information about the Delaware Ballet Company, its’ dancers and future performances.

It is the mission of our organization to provide residents of Kent County and its surrounding community with access to high quality classical and contemporary ballet performances. We would like to share our passion and the company’s gift of dance with the broadest possible audience. In efforts to fulfill this mission, we have an Outreach Program that is designed to allow students and seniors alike, the ability to experience such performances. Because of generous support from The Delaware Division of the Arts and Wal-Mart Supercenter these performances have been enjoyed by thousands of underserved or disadvantaged youth who would otherwise not have had the opportunity to experience the wonder of dance!

I would like to a moment to extend a sincere ‘thank you’ to the Delaware Ballet Guild. They are a group of dedicated parent-volunteers who truly are the backbone of our dance company. As advocates of the arts, these parents work tirelessly to raise money and volunteer countless number of hours to ensure the rehearsals and productions run smoothly.

I would also like to gratefully acknowledge two of our biggest supporters: The Delaware Division of the Arts (DDOA) and the Camden Wal-Mart Supercenter in Camden, Delaware. Despite the harsh economic times and budget cuts, both the DDOA and Wal-Mart have generously provided much needed financial support to the Delaware Ballet. Without organizations like them who support and believe in the arts, these performances would not be possible! THANK YOU!

I look forward to seeing you at one of our performances!
