Delaware Ballet is the area's only nonprofit ballet company, funded by individual and corporate donors, contributions by the Delaware State University and grants from the Delaware Division of the Arts, MBNA, and others. Though centered in classical ballet, Delaware Ballet does occasionally perform contemporary pieces. Most importantly, Delaware Ballet prides itself on excellence. We are an independent company, fielding members through audition and employing the services of guest artists from the Pennsylvania Ballet and New York City Ballet, both classified among the worlds finest. A strong Board of Directors and a dedicated Delaware Ballet Guild lend the support that helps Delaware Ballet bring the love of dance to the community in and around Dover.Delaware Ballet to Debut 2007 Nutcracker Stage PerformanceThe Delaware Ballet will be introducing its 2007 presentation of The Nutcracker ballet on December 7, 8, and 9th.
